Majors
Graphic Design
Throughout their time in the program graphic design students will learn and understand foundational design principles. They’ll spend time bolstering their professional skill set by utilizing and mastering industry standard software such Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Dream Weaver. Students graduating from this program will be well versed in print and digital delivery formats.
Communication
Students entering into one of our communication majors will be exposed to general, thematic, and contextual theories of communication. They will hone their oratory abilities while at the same time maturing their knowledge in the areas of advertising, persuasion, and social media.
Film & Video
Students who enter into our Film & Video Program will learn the ins and outs of film production as it pertains to commercial and narrative filmmaking. Students will gain a solid understanding of the pre-production, production, and post-production processes. This includes understanding the “Greenlight” process, working with talent and fellow crew members, as well as having a solid understanding of industry standard software such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Audio
Students who choose one of our audio majors will spend time in one of our two audio studios learning how to mix and master live and recorded audio. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to integrate with our outstanding music department where they’ll be able to further refine their knowledge of music principles. Students will also spend time learning and mastering industry standard software such as Avid Pro Tools.
